Staying healthy is a basic need in this generation where the cost of medical bills is increasing daily. Prevention of diseases can save you a lot of money and time.

Cardio-respiratory diseases range from heart attack, stroke, hypertension, COPDs among others. They are basically diseases of the heart, blood vessels and respiratory system- the lungs.
To stay healthy basically involves healthy diet and physical activity, it also involves the peace of mind.
                       Health= physical activity + health diet/nutrition + peace of mind
This may sound obvious but adhering to it is the hardest part. Being physically active basically involves more than 150 minutes/week of moderate to vigorous exercise or physical activity. We recommend being active in most days of the week. 
The activities range from brisk walking, jogging, running, swimming, cycling among others. This are basically aerobics exercises to mean they utilize oxygen. 
What do physical activities really do to you?
There are more than 100 reasons why you should exercise. Apart from;
-reducing your chances of developing heart disease,
-reducing blood pressure,
-some cancers e.g. breast cancer, colon cancers among others
-type 2 diabetes, physical activities help reduce your chances of depression, dementia, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis.
-Physical activities can help reduce development of cholesterol levels,
-they also improve your well-being, both socially and emotionally.
Helps manage your weight.
People with sleep problems can benefit from exercise before going to bed. 
Diet and nutrition

Of importance to note is to monitor your diet, how much you eat, when and what you are eating.
Regulate the amount of calories.
Avoid fast foods.
Reduce amount of salt intake
“Let me eat, I will work it out”, is a wrong, misguided quote.
Staying healthy is our basic responsibility. Use stairs, walk and do some jogging.
